Tammy Bradshaw: 12 Fantastic Things About The Mom Of The Bradshaw Bunch!

1. Who is Tammy Bradshaw?

Little is known about Tammy Bradshaw (who was called Tameria Alice before marriage) except that she is a former model. Unlike Bradshaw’s other ex-wives, Tammy lived a pretty quiet life before meeting the football star.

Between Tammy’s grief and Bradshaw’s failed marriages, it was probably wise for the couple to take things slow, especially because there was a recent tragedy when Tammy met Terry:  she had just lost her son to a drug overdose. The son was born (from a previous marriage).

“We dated for 13 years, never lived together,” Bradshaw Closer Weekly said in August 2019. “[We were both] coming out of bad divorces and when I was getting close to her, I ran and hid for six weeks, then ran back. I said, ‘There’s no one putting your hands around my heart.’ I fought her for 13 years, and to her credit, not once did she say, ‘Where’s this going?’ ”

Tammy doesn’t usually ask questions. In fact, in 2020, she confessed to People that she dated Bradshaw for quite a while before knowing he was famous.

“When we started dating, I would go over to his house and… there’s a number 12 (his shirt number) on the sconces… and a big 12 on the gate… So finally after three months, I was like, ‘What’s with number 12? ‘”

2. Husband Terry Bradshaw was married on four different occasions:

Melissa Babish

Bradshaw married his first wife, former Miss Teenage America Melissa Babish, in 1972, two years after being the number one pick in the NFL Draft. Their union lasted 18 months, a very short time, but his next relationship was a little better.

JoJo Starbuck

From 1976 to 1983, Bradshaw was married to Olympic figure skater JoJo Starbuck and the couple found common ground in their Christianity. Terry Bradshaw proposed two weeks after they met but Olympic figure skater JoJo Starbuck didn’t want to trade her life as an artist on the Ice Capades for housewife duties on his Shreveport ranch.

“The men down there are a little sexist, and that tends to make things more difficult for me,” she told the New York Times. “Downstairs, the women are in the kitchen cooking all day, and the men on the farm, watching the animals. I stay in the kitchen too, but it’s not easy… Just watching [my widowed mother] and seeing how strong and independent she was, I thought that’s how a woman is. ”

Charla Hopkins

Terry Bradshaw married his third wife, family attorney Charla Hopkins, the same year he divorced Starbuck.

His statement according to the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times said: “I met her when she was 19, but I thought she was 22….We dated for four years, and I put her in the routine. We broke up and then got back together. I was afraid that she didn’t really love me. Once I realized this was real, it was wonderful.’”

The couple had two children together, daughters Rachel and Erin. Unfortunately, the third time was not a charm and they divorced in 2009 despite this marriage lasting longer than the other two, as they were together for 16 years before filing for divorce in 1998.

Tammy Bradshaw

NFL’s Terry Bradshaw immediately started dating Tammy Alice, but was in no hurry to see another bride walk down the aisle for him. But one thing we do know is that Tammy has previously worked as a model and appeared on various television shows. Her philanthropic work is also part of her career where instead of using her and her husband’s fame to advance in the entertainment industry, Tammy Bradshaw focused on philanthropy.

“I had a weight loss, which I had never had before. I couldn’t stop crying. And if he wasn’t crying, he was angry, bitter, hateful, and petty. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t concentrate. It just went crazy,” he stated.

After looking for help, Terry ran into Tammy. A romance blossomed, and they eventually married in 2014. “I ran into her in the hallway and said, ‘Oh listen, we’re getting married in Hawaii on Tuesday.’ She said that she was fine, and we moved on,” he admitted to Closer Weekly. ” We got there and she said, ‘If you’re serious, we need a license.’ So we have one.
